Lilikoi, the Hawaiian name for passion fruit, shares the tartness of a lemon paired with a floral sweetness found only in the tropics. This is the favorite at our local farmers markets and is quickly running out due to the waning season. Traditionally, curd is used at English teas, but is wonderful for any occasion. Lilikoi Curd is a beautiful accent on ice cream, yogurt, cheesecake or for dipping fruit. Our favorite use is as a filling in tartlets and trifle. Your guests will be oh, so impressed!
